Axel Witsel is moving to Atlético Madrid
After the end of his adventure at Borussia Dortmund, Axel Witsel has signed without a contract with Atlético de Madrid. Also courted by Olympique de Marseille and Galatasaray, he eventually decided to join Diego Simeone and the Madridians.

OGC Nice formally announce the departure of Julien Fournier, its director of football
Nice this Wednesday formalized the departure of its football director Julien Fournier, who has been in charge since 2011 but has been weakened by his disagreements with Christophe Galtier, former coach of the current club at Paris SG, and Jean-Pierre Rivère, its president.

Mandanda signed for Rennes

Haller signs with Dortmund
Ivorian striker Sébastien Haller has joined Dortmund from Ajax Amsterdam to join the German club orphan of star striker Erling Haaland, who joined Manchester City, Borussia announced on Wednesday.
Haller, 28, is returning to Germany after previously playing for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga between 2017 and 2019.
He then moved to England and West Ham (2019-21), then to Ajax in January 2021.
“We are very happy to be able to sign Sébastien Haller,” said Dortmund’s new sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
He is “an experienced center forward who last attracted attention in the Champions League, but also knows the Bundesliga very well and has already proven his class and final qualities there.”
In the Ajax shirt, he scored 47 goals in 65 appearances in all competitions, including 11 goals in last season’s Champions League.
Born in France and trained in Auxerre, the forward was top scorer in the last Dutch championship, won by Amsterdam, who also won the national cup.
Ajax said they would be paid €31m for this transfer. Compensation, which could still amount to 34.5 million euros.
